Patrick Boase
I am a social entrepreneur and consultant/trainer in the field of social enterprise and co-operatives. I have wide experience of planning, facilitating and reporting on organisational issues for smaller enterprises. I am a Social Audit Network UK-registered social auditor, which has given me insight and a strong interest in evaluation. I have worked long-term with Parent Network Scotland, a social enterprise offering training to parents, both as a Board member and as a facilitator of courses for parents. I have managed and monitored a range of Indian projects on behalf of the charity CBS Network.

Alan Kay
I am a researcher in social enterprise and community development with particular experience in the social economy, social capital, social accounting and evaluation. My background is in overseas development and I have lived and worked in East Africa and South East Asia attached to a variety of organisations including HelpAge International, ActionAid and VSO. I helped to found the Social Audit Network (SAN) and I have developed links with a wide range of third sector organisations in the UK and abroad and carried out research, planning, training, facilitation, lecturing and evaluations. I am an Associate Lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University and assisted them to establish a Diploma and MSc in Social Enterprise. I am also a Director of CBS Network, the Treasurer for the Community Development Journal and a Member of the Institute for Economic Development. My formal qualifications include a BSc (University of Aberdeen) and a MA in Rural Development (University of East Anglia).

Jennifer Richmond
I have over 20 years personal assistant & business administration experience, bringing valuable skills to the organisations I am working with. I have mainly a corporate background but have been working with social enterprises since 2009. I have been freelance since 2007 working with organisations UK wide and, most recently, as finance officer & administrator for CBS Network and JUST the Business. I combine efficient and effective office administration skills with extensive experience of managing events and working to deliver membership services including training and support.
I am also a certified bookkeeper holding a practice licence with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.

Jackie Scutt
I am a learning and development consultant and business coach with a professional background in education as both practitioner and manager. I enjoy managing and developing business for social purpose and have a successful track record in social enterprise and regeneration at chief executive level. I was founding Director of the Social Enterprise Academy, and continue to provide expert consultancy which recently included developing a partnership between the Social Enterprise Academy and Glasgow Caledonian University resulting in us creating Scotland’s first Masters qualification in Social Enterprise. I am currently Treasurer for Planning Aid Scotland. My formal qualifications include a Certificate in Accounting as well as an MA in Education and a Diploma in Management Coaching and Mentoring.

Frances Simpson
I am a business consultant and coach with twenty years experience in developing and managing projects and services in the Third Sector. Most of my work until 2004 was working with disabled people and carers, providing direct emotional support as well as establishing a range of services including the Dundee Direct Payments Support Service, and a specialist welfare rights service. I have been a Consultant Trainer with Carers Scotland and tutored a module within the Duncan of Jordanstone/Dundee University Health and Welfare Course. Most recently I worked for Samaritans in a senior policy and communications role. I have an MA (Hons) from St Andrews University, a Diploma in Community Care from Dundee University and am currently completing a Diploma in Management Coaching and Mentoring.

Lesley Greenaway
I am an experienced researcher, facilitator and trainer with a focus on developing customised evaluation projects, and building organisational and human capacity in evaluation and research. My background and experience is rooted in the third sector in Scotland where I have a special interest in youth work, volunteering and community learning and development. I have experience at executive level and lead officer for training where I have developed innovative work-based learning modules in partnership with the University of Dundee. My formal qualifications include an MSc in Practitioner Research and I am currently studying part-time towards a Professional Doctorate with a focus on Evaluation that Empowers.
